Abstract
When programming work with messaging related to climate action, festivals often make great claims of the ways they are changing the attitudes of audiences. But is there any way to evaluate and track the impact of such programming? This presentation examines the assumptions, the evidence and some of the tools for understanding performance and behaviour change. It then sets out a provocation for building evidence of how centring climate action stories can contribute to changes in attitudes and behaviours.
