Kim, J. (2022) Introduction. In: Dynamic System Modeling and Analysis with MATLAB and Python: For Control Engineers. Wiley , pp. 1-22. ISBN 9781119801627
Abstract
Modern engineering systems and biological systems modelling requires not only theoretical but also programming skills. The programming skills for control engineers are taught rarely in regular courses. This book provides the starting step to dive into diverse programming skills in dynamic system modelling and analysis. A falling object under the gravitational force and ligand–receptor molecular interactions are used as motivation examples to show how to construct differential equations and solve them using the differential equation solvers in Matlab or Python.
