Abstract
We report an improved method for the continuous encapsulation of magnetic droplets with polyelectrolytes by deflecting ferrofluid-based templates through a microdevice with a design based on the “Snakes-and-Ladders” game. We demonstrated that the templates were successfully coated in less than 1 minute, showing the promising capabilities of integrating magnetic technologies within microfluidics for the generation of polymer multilayer capsules.
