A just transition towards climate neutrality for the EU: debates, key issues and ways forward

This OSE Research paper – the research for which was commissioned by the Belgian Federal Public Service Social Security – critically discusses the emerging EU framework for a ‘just transition’ and provides recommendations to policymakers. It proposes to reinforce EU just transition policies by: a) strengthening the link between the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights and the achievement of just transition objectives; b) enhancing monitoring and developing the knowledge base; and c) strengthening social and civil dialogue.
