Ganilova, O. (2008) Investigation of a Sandwich Plate Subjected to Dynamic Loading taking into account a Time Variant Damping Coefficient. In: Theoretical Foundations of Civil Engineering , the 16th. , pp. 139-146.
Abstract
This paper deals with a problem of dynamic loading of an orthotropic sandwich plate considering time variant damping. Classical and iterative multilayer plate theories were applied for analysis and correlation of results obtained. As a result of investigation of different hybrid methods [7-11], an asymptotic approach, a hybrid WKB-Galerkin technique [8, 9], was used to obtain an approximate analytical solution of the described problem presented as a differential equation with variable coefficients and a parameter multiplying the highest order derivative.
