Abstract
This chapter discusses Theatre for Development and the problem of copying the work of trainers and facilitators as opposed to having sufficient training to be flexible in facilitating workshops to be maximally useful to participants. it in particular focusses on the problem of following 'gurus' such as Augusto Boal.
