Zhu, Q.M. and Billings, S.A. (1992) A Comparison of Polynomial and Rational NARMAX Models for Nonlinear System Identification. Research Report. ACSE Research Report 444 . Department of Automatic Systems Control and Engineering
Abstract
Polynomial and rational expansions of nonlinear stochastic dynamic models are compared. The structure, approximation properties and stability are discussed and a unified identification algorithm is introduced.
