Billings, S.A. and Fadzil, M.B. (1984) The Practical Identification of Systems with Nonlinearities. Research Report. Acse Report 264 . Dept of Automatic Control and System Engineering. University of Sheffield
Abstract
The practical aspects of identifying nonlinear systems are discussed by using the identification of a heat exchanger as a case study example. Methods of determining if the system is linear or nonlinear prior to the parameter estimation are illustrated.
