Abstract
It is essential for the design of controllers to know something of the dynamic characteristics of the plant concerned. The main method to obtain these characteristics at present is largely based on experimental analyses of existing plants. In a previous paper (1), a useful analytical model for a symmetric binary distillation was deduced.
