Abstract
Is the metaphysical structure of the world familiar or alien? That is, can the structure of the world be presented using familiar linguistic resources, or would that require radically new, alien resources? Eklund (2024) has recently argued for the epistemic possibility of alien structure. My aim in this paper is to argue against that possibility.
