Crowley, T (Accepted: 2018) The Murals of Northern Ireland 1979-2017 - Digital Humanities Project. Claremont Colleges Digital Library.
Abstract
The Murals of Northern Ireland 1979-2017 is an international collaboration with the Honnold Library, Los Angeles. It is a unique archive of c.6500 digital images (taken from a collection of some 20,000 of my own photographs) of the war-related and post-conflict murals of Northern Ireland, 1979-2017, with full historical annotation. The collection is open –access and available at http://ccdl.libraries.claremont.edu/col/mni (the Claremont Colleges Digital library site) and at http://cain.ulst.ac.uk/murals/index.html (the Conflict Archive on the Internet). Images from the collection have been reproduced in a number of textbooks, critical monographs, two documentaries, many doctoral dissertations, and the British GCSE history examination. The project is ongoing and is updated regularly.
