Taylor-Jones, K. and Yan, Y. (2014) Cultural Translation and East Asia: Film, Literature and Religion. JOMEC Journal, 6. ISSN 2049-2340
Abstract
This introduction offers a discussion of the aims and objectives of this JOMEC Journal special issue, which is devoted to Cultural Translation and East Asia: Creativity, Film, Literature and Religion. We debate why this topic is timely given the ever increasing visibility of East Asian Cultures in the West and focus on how the act of translation is important in any cultural interaction.
