Abstract
This report includes a patent application for the design and implementation of an automated washing system. The MAWS invention allows the complete automatic feeding\extraction\manipulation of material on multiple washing machines (initially for hospital disinfecting units), while making provisions for a clean and healthy workcell. The said system includes electro-mechanical design/interfacing, instrumentation, PC/embedded control software and user interface.
