Abstract
This paper reports on research towards a natural language speech interface to a hand-held computer Personal Organiser. The research so far includes a review of related research and design of an experiment and analysis of the data. The application will be in-car, so that the user can update a computer database while driving. The focus now is on creating a natural sublanguage that suffices to access the computer data.
