Banks, S.P., Salamci, M.U. and McCaffrey, D. (1996) Global Stabilization of Nonlinear Systems via Switching Manifolds. Research Report. ACSE Research Report 647 . Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering
Abstract
The globalization of nonlinear systems is considered by reducing the problem to a lower dimensional switching manifold which is made globally attracting. The method generalises the standard LYapunov approach.
