Abstract
Despite the burden to patients and society, there are no diagnostic criteria for cubital tunnel syndrome. Our survey shows that 93% of surgeons order preoperative tests (mostly electrodiagnostics only, which is discordant with expert consensus). Moreover, six in 10 still operate when test results are normal. The diagnostic pathway for cubital tunnel syndrome must be standardized.
