Abstract
Supramolecular chemistry research is wide and varied, touching upon areas as diverse as molecular machines, soft materials, protein–substrate interactions, optoelectronics and energy storage. This discipline-spanning aspect of supramolecular chemistry was on show at the 2024 meeting of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry (MASC) Interest Group, which was held at the University of York. The topics covered and the events of MASC 2024 are summarized in this Meeting Report. Dedicated to Sir J. Fraser Stoddart.
