Glerum-Brooks, Karen (2024) Community conversations underpin our research:This report describes our public involvement (PI) approach and its impact on our 2024 study: Public health messaging on climate change and health: the potential for a child health focus. Research Report.
Abstract
Our study Climate change is taking an increasing toll on the health of the UK population, including children. However, our 2023 research suggests that linking climate change to people’s health in general may not be the most effective way to gain public support for climate policies. Other topics seem to be of greater concern to people. Among these, is a concern about climate change’s impact on children. To find out more about this topic, we decided to conduct a follow-up survey.
