Abstract
By tracing Peter Blundell Jones’ architectural criticism and linking it to his two most important built works – the Round House of 1976 and the Padley Mill of 1995, the British architectural critic’s contribution to architecture as a form of built criticism and his overall built heritage are analyzed, drawing out the internal capacity of architecture as both a discipline and a profession to reconcile the literal and built discourses in a sustained and living tradition.
