Potter, Ned Communicating the benefits of UX to everyone who needs to hear it. In: Priestner, Andy and Martin, Marisa, (eds.) User Experience in Libraries: Yearbook 2024. UXLibs , pp. 291-299.
Abstract
Communication is key to effective UX. This chapter explores how we successfully recruit fieldwork participants, how we can talk more about the benefits of User Experience and less about the features, and how do we collaborate with colleagues across our organisations without scaring them off. Most importantly, it covers how we turn that whole-hearted Management support for user research, into a similar level of enthusiasm for wide-spread design changes.
