Abstract
A technique, which is called master curves in sedimentation equilibrium analytical ultracentrifugation, to address a key fundamental question for objects in nanoscale is designed: When a dispersion is formed, how can one determine whether it is a solution (Delta Gmix < 0) or a suspension (Delta Gmix > 0)? This study proves that bovine serum album and lysozyme form solutions while ferritin and apoferritin are present as suspensions.
