Abstract
Decarbonizing transport is vital to prospects of mitigating dangerous climate change but requires changes in travel, which will affect people’s lives. Operationalizing fair, effective, transitions to low-carbon mobility is possible only if we focus on measures enabling participation in social and economic activities with limited reliance on motorized transport.
