Abstract
Complex geometries are finding wider application in contemporary architectures, and are reconnecting the two fields of architecture and structural engineering that for centuries have been inappropriately walking aside. Impressive projects throughout the world are evidence of a new way of designing. Digital technologies are enhancing significant changes in architecture. This paper presents the digital design and fabrication of a pavilion developed for the IASS 2019 exhibition as a way to demonstrate the possibilities opened by the integration of knowledges through digital platforms.
