Abstract
Additional neurobiological experiments-both on the pattern of sensory inputs to the cerebellum and on the ways in which the cerebellum processes that information-also suggest a need to substantially revise current thinking about the function of this organ. In retrospect, it is perhaps not surprising that the cerebellum acts as more than just a simple controller of movement. Like the human cerebral cortex, the cerebellum packs a prodigious amount of circuitry into a small space by folding in on itself numerous times
