Abstract
Discusses the extent to which any options for reforming secured transactions, including extension of registration to quasi-security interests, must interact with the nemo dat rules. Examines the potential operation of the unitary and the "registration-only" models of such registration, and their approach to specific scenarios and the nemo dat rules in the context of retention of title. Considers which model would prove most effective.
