Abstract
This paper focuses on the systematic review of the studies published in the ‘supply network’ and related field in past 20 years (1994 - 2014). The paper aims to explore relevant past literatures to understand the emerging research themes and contemporary issues in ‘supply networks management’. Past literature are classified into the themes of network dynamics, networks design, uncertainty in supply networks, and network analysis. The paper raises some key research questions to understand the supply networks complexity, and to make sense of the interdependencies across the multiple-tiers of the network.
