Abstract
While previous research using quantitative measures indicates that children may regard the Zeno R-25 Milo model as strongly gendered as a boy, use of a more open question results in a wider range of responses and justifications from most children for why evaluation of gender is not appropriate to apply to the robot. The outcomes have implications for production of robots for CRI and developmental research.
