Corrigendum to "Childhood-onset generalized epilepsy in Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome" [Epilepsy Res. 140 (2018) 166-170]

The authors regret an error in our article “Childhood-onset generalized epilepsy in Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome” published in the February 2018 issue of Epilepsy Research (140: 166–170). In the article, we stated that we described three patients with novel mutations in ASXL3. It has since come to our attention that two of the mutations have been described in different patients in prior publications. The mutation in our patient #1 was previously reported in a 15-year-old male by Kuechler et al (2017) and the mutation in our patient #2 was reported in a 5-year-old girl by Hori et al (2016). This demonstrates that recurrent mutations are a cause of Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome.
