The potential for inclusive green agricultural transformation: creating sustainable livelihoods through an agroecological approach in Tanzania

Many argue that the world urgently needs to produce more food for an expanding global population in the face of climate change; and that food security can only be assured through high input and large scale agricultural production. The context for agricultural transformation is changing and a second green revolution must be more inclusive and less environmentally damaging than the first.
