Abstract
The Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) was set up by the government to enable local programmes to take practical action to reduce inequalities in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. An evaluation of the how these worked in the health and wellbeing projects in Preston, Lancashire produces recommendations for future initiatives of this kind.
